Celebrations are a vital part of life, acting as a key to
finding long-lasting peace and happiness. While Christmas and New Year are
globally recognized as major celebrations, the true essence of these
festivities can often be deeply personal and unique to each individual.
One of the most cherished aspects of these celebrations,
particularly for me, is the tradition of "Kudil" or Christmas cribs.
The beautifully crafted Kudils, adorned with miniature figures depicting the
Nativity scene, serve as a poignant reminder of the true meaning of Christmas
and New Year—celebrating love, hope, and new beginnings. These intricate
displays, whether found in homes, villages, churches, or iconic landmarks, add
a special touch to the festive atmosphere and capture the hearts of those who witness
them.
The vibrant lights, joyful moments, and cherished memories
from Christmas 2018 and New Year 2019 always leave me yearning for more.
Reflecting on these memories, I'm reminded of the elaborate light displays and
the heartwarming Kudils that adorned homes, villages, churches, and iconic
landmarks during the festive season.
Although I'm sharing these memories a bit late, my
enthusiasm for Christmas, especially the tradition of Kudil, remains
undiminished. I'm excited to relive these cherished moments through photographs
and stories. Take a moment to browse through the picture story, and perhaps
you'll feel the same festive spirit, joy, and admiration for the beautifully
crafted Kudils that I experienced during these special celebrations.
